Videos from first Nashville band show featuring Jeff Lopez from the Taylor Hicks Band
Nov 29, 2011

I recently had my first Nashville band show on October 21st at a great club called The Rutledge downtown off of 4th Ave. The show featured a few familiar faces (lead guitarist Christopher Bell and former FLB drummer Mike Ball), as well as some new special guests including bassist Joe Schneider, violinist DeMetri Moon, vocalist Marion Grace (also a Frederick County native!) and saxophone player Jeff Lopez from the Taylor Hicks Band!

A friend of the band was able to get some great video footage for several of the songs (thanks, Wanda!), including a few new ones. Here are the links to the YouTube vids:

Nashville Bound
Sep 5, 2011
For those of you who have not heard the news yet, in less than two weeks I will be leaving the Maryland/DC area to move to Nashville, TN and stay at least through the end of the year. I have been given the incredible opportunity to work with a very talented major artist and former 'American Idol' winner, the Captain of the Soul Patrol himself, Taylor Hicks. I will be working on my next album (which Taylor and several other great artists have offered to perform on) and am looking forward to collaborating with a lot of talented folks in Music City, USA.

That all being said, me and the band are going to make sure we go out in style here at home before my departure! Here are some notable farewell gigs:

LAST BAND SHOW WITH FULL HORN SECTION
September 5th (Labor Day!), 6:25pm
Resfest, Crumland Farms, Frederick, MD

LAST FULL BAND BLOWOUT IN FREDERICK
September 10th, 9:30pm
Bushwaller's, Frederick, MD

LAST SHOW IN THE AREA
September 11th (solo acoustic), 2pm
Sugarloaf Vineyard, Dickerson, MD

I want to thank all of the folks that have supported me and the music over the years and continue to offer such good wishes. Hold on to your hats--here's to an exciting new adventure!
