On July 11th, The Freddie Long Band competed at Cancun Cantina in Hagerstown, MD and won the great honor of opening for Bad Company, Blue Oyster Cult, Candlebox, and more at the Outlaw Jam festival on August 1st at the Frederick Fairgrounds!!
Outlaw Jam is an all day music and event festival highlighted by the long-awaited return of legendary classic rock super group Bad Company. This is the all original line-up, featuring the legendary Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke and Mick Ralphs. Joining the impressive line-up of musical entertainment is Blue Oyster Cult, Candlebox, Black Stone Cherry, local legends The Nighthawks with special guest Bob Margolin, and yours truly, The Freddie Long Band.
In addition to the musical entertainment, the event will be hosted by Katey Sagal & Charlie Hunnam, stars of the hit FX series Sons of Anarchy, who will also have meet and greet sessions during the festival. There will also be custom car and motorcycle exhibits, great food options and special events and prize giveaways.
